CINQUANTA: 50-Passenger Squircle Cabin Quadcopter

Image
Today, 26 January 2019 (Malaysian time), I am 50, as I was born in Malaysia on 26 January 1969. However, I am in Italy tonight, which is still 25 January 2019, and to commemorate my 50th birthday, I have just completed drawing a concept of 50-passenger quadcopter, I called, " CINQUANTA " in Italian or "FIFTY" in English. It  is the world's first conceptual design of large passenger quadcopter with squircle (square with rounded corners) cabin around 4 propellers. Unlike conventional designs of quadcopter where the cabin is located at the center between the 4 propellers, the cabin of CINQUANTA is outside of and around the 4 propellers. The unconventional design of CINQUANTA places the cabin outside, while the 4 propellers inside. This configuration enables smaller diameter of the quadcopter for accommodating 50 passengers. There are 4 curved seats for 13 adults each inside the squircle cabin of CINQUANTA, to accommodate a total of 50 pas...

TEH73 (Tactical Electric Hemisphere), Commemorating the 73rd Birthday Anniversary of My Mother, Teh Rauyah Mohd Salleh

Image
Today, 22 December 2018 is the 73rd birthday anniversary of my mother, Teh Rauyah Mohd Salleh. To commemorate this special day, I have designed a unique concept aircraft calleh " TEH73 ", where "TEH" stands for, Tactical Electric Hemisphere , carrying the meaning, "hemispheric-designed electric-powered aircraft that can tactically be mobilized" My mother & I. TEH73, viewed from above. As the name indicates, TEH73 is designed around a hemisphere, by installing a suitable fuselage and wing into a hemisphere.  TEH73, viewed from the sides. The hemispheric-shaped aircraft has 2 unique air intakes, 1 at each wingtip, but a rather conventional single centerline nozzle at its rear-end. The air from the intakes flow into a hemisphere where there is a contra-rotating propeller.  TEH73, viewed from the front. The contra-rotating propeller accelerates the air before channeling it either to the perimetric noz...

ADIB: Air Deployment Integrated Bomba (dedicated to Adib, the fireman) by TANAH MELAYU

Image
Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim (Adib) was a Malaysian fireman who died on December 17, 2018 due to injury caused by Hindu extremists while performing his duty 21 days before. To Malaysians, Adib died a national hero. Adib (Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim) To remember Adib, TANAH MELAYU  is proposing the development of an autonomous fire fighting quadcopter based on a conceptual design called, ADIB or Air Deployment Integrated Bomba ("Bomba" is a Malay word meaning, "fireman"). ADIB viewed horizontally from any direction. ADIB with the "front propulsion removed" (side view). ADIB is powered by 4 electric ducted fans, each with contra-rotating 2 propellers providing enough thrust to airborne 1000kg of payloads. A contra-rotating 2 propellers. Being a typical quadcopter, ADIB is capable of VTOL (vertical take-off & landing) and horizontal flight at all directions. Top view of ADIB. For landing, A...

8-PROP 12-SEAT VTOL AEROPLANE TO COMMEMORATE 812 UNITED MALAYSIANS DEMONSTRATION

Image
On 8 December 2018, more than 1.5 million Malaysians have participated in " 812 United Malaysians peace demonstration " in Kuala Lumpur. In term of number of participants, it was the biggest demonstration ever held in Malaysia. The objective of the demonstration was to demonstrate to the Malaysian government that the Malaysian people are united and the government have to respect that unity in making any decision that affect the people, be it short or long term. At that time, the demonstration was also to show the unity of the people against the possible ratification of ICERD (International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination) by the government. During the 812 United Malaysians peace demonstration. The demonstration was not only peaceful and successful, but it was also surprisingly well conducted that although the number of participants had reached millions, the participants did not leave noticeable rubbish on the street, very unlik...

MALAYSIAN MISSILE RETALIATION POLICY TO COUNTER SINGAPORE PRE-EMPTIVE STRIKE POLICY

Image
Singapore seems to be very proud of its pre-emptive strike policy where the country will strike its neighboring countries with the objective to disable those countries to strike Singapore. This is very typical policy for a small country that is over-confident of its military capability compared to its neighboring bigger countries, but anyway has been successfully demonstrated by Israel against its neighbors at many occasions. Malaysia particularly is concerned about this policy, and Malaysia should implement its own policy to counter this policy that will discourage Singapore to execute any pre-emptive strike on Malaysia. The total area of Singapore is only 720kmsq or 0.2% of Malaysian total land area. It is a very small country, compared to Malaysia, only slightly bigger than some city council areas in Malaysia. This very significant difference between Malaysia and Singapore should serve as a guide for Malaysia to implement a specific anti-Singapore pre-emptive policy. Not...
